How to delete your account

Last updated: April 21, 2026

Who this is for

This guide is for students who want to permanently close their Kampus Connect account and remove personal data tied to that account from our active systems.

Self-service deletion (recommended)

  1. Install or open the Kampus Connect mobile app and sign in with your account.
  2. Open Settings from the main navigation.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Read the on-screen warning, enter your current password, and confirm deletion.

When deletion succeeds, you are signed out and your session in the app ends. You can start again later with a new account if you choose, but previous content tied to the deleted account will not be restored.

If you cannot use the app

Email hello@kampusconnect.app. Include the email address you use to sign in so we can verify the request. Manual requests may take additional time while we confirm ownership.

What we remove when your account is deleted

Deleting your account removes your sign-in identity from our authentication provider and deletes your user profile row. Database rows that belong to your profile are removed together with that deletion, including for example:

  • Profile fields and in-app preferences stored with your account
  • Reviews (ratings and written feedback) you submitted
  • Reactions, badges, and similar engagement tied to your account
  • Teacher or course requests you submitted
  • Review reports and in-app messages such as feature requests tied to your account
  • Device push tokens and per-account notification settings we store for the product

Shared catalogue data that is not personal to you (for example a teacher directory entry that other students also use) generally stays available; your personal link to that content is removed with your account.

Backups, logs, and analytics

Our infrastructure providers may retain encrypted backups or security and audit logs for a limited period under their standard practices. Where product analytics are enabled for your build, analytics vendors may retain event data under their own retention policies; we stop associating new activity with your account once it is deleted.
